Therapy tends to be focused on things that have happened (the past), while counseling is mainly geared toward what is ahead (the future).
Anyone can be a candidate for therapy - even therapists go to therapy!
The process is different for everyone and really depends on the individual, the issue(s) and how they impact one's life. The foundation of that process is the therapeutic relationship. Each therapist-client relationship is special; we create it as we take the journey together.
An important piece of the process is your individualized treatment plan that is "designed with you in mind". We couple your valuable information and experience with our clinical training and expertise to formulate a plan that works for you then make adjustments whenever helpful.
